This weekend I’ve been experimenting with Hermes Agent using the new DeepSeek V4 Flash model. One thing I’ve been quite interested in is how I can make publishing to my blog a lot easier.

It always feels quite laborious to have to go to my computer, sit at the desk, and type out a blog post. It takes a long while this way, and I often stress over individual words for quite some time. That means the effort required to actually publish an idea is quite high.

Instead, I wanted to be able to just transcribe my blog post wherever I am on my phone when an idea comes into my head. I can then have that transcription sent to my Hermes Agent, and it would tidy it up for me and publish it to my blog.

In fact, this blog post that you’re reading here was published using this method (here is a link to the pull request my agent opened for me). These aren’t AI’s words — they’re my words, my idea, just tidied up a bit by AI.

I still think this is different from having AI generate a blog post for you, even if you come up with the idea. It’s not the same as you expressing that idea in your own words.

So what do you think? Is this actually easier for publishing? Would you like to read blogs published like this?
